Our work featured by ASU's Ask a Biologist

Beth discovered Ask a Biologist when they proposed she write a “Plosable” story about a paper she had published in PLoS Biology in 2013. The website is based at Arizona State University (ASU) and does an amazing job producing biology content for K-12 students and teachers. In summer 2020, she finished a virtual 360 savanna tour with the help of Charles Kazilek (aka Dr. Biology) and Karla Moeller. In spring 2021, Andrew Burchill, an ASU graduate student, interviewed Beth and produced a story about the lab’s research, as well as about Beth’s own journey into a science career. Beth then did a podcast with Dr. Biology to sum it all up.
